Arjun Rampal reveals what he exactly did after Dhurandhar released
Arjun Rampal kept himself very calm and patient as soon as Dhurandhar released. The actor was not in the city and revealed that he had gone off to Goa, to be close to Mother Nature, be with his family, and just be at peace with himself. Aditya Dhar directed Dhurandhar, which is the kind of movie that comes along only once in, like, every few decades. Ranveer Singh played the role of ‘Hamza Ali Mazari’, and, on the other hand, Arjun Rampal’s success was all personal. He and the entire Dhurandhar team did not expect success, but now it has become a reality. In his words:
“As soon as the film released, I went back home to Goa. I’ve been with my family, spending time in nature and just being at peace. The beautiful thing is that everybody from the team just wants to get grounded. It’s such a wonderful, beautiful high that we’ve all received, and now you just want balance. It’s very important.”

Understanding Arjun Rampal’s character of ‘Major Iqbal’
Arjun Rampal’s character of ‘Major Iqbal’ is not your stereotypical villain. He is an ISI operative who is in complete sync with Lyari’s criminal ecosystem. ‘Major Iqbal’ has all the terror networks backing him and is the man who is always on a satellite phone. As seen in Dhurandhar, he was speaking to the terrorists when the 26/11 attacks happened in Mumbai. He confesses of directing the terrorists. ‘Major Iqbal’ is known as the face of ideological extremism, and, undoubtedly, this has been Arjun Rampal’s finest performance. He carries fear in his eyes that do not flinch, and believes that his belief system is the utmost rule of the jungle. Arjun’s character is portrayed as someone who believes he is not cruel.
