Trisha looked gorgeous as she styled her hair in a bun with jasmine flowers adorn on it. The actress arrived with her mother, Uma Krishnan for the ceremony. Apart from her ceremony, it was her jewels that stood her apart. She was seen waving at the crowd present there. As per reports, Trisha sat in the VIP section. It is worth nothing that Vijay Thalapathy’s estranged wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam was no where to be seen during the ceremony, nether their children. It seems like the family is maintaining a dignified silence amidst it.

Vijay Thalapathy on his divorce
Recently, during a TVK rally, Vijay broke his silence on his divorce matter. However, he didn’t address his relationship buzz with Trisha. Vijay, in the rally without directly naming anyone, stated that some issues are running around, so people should not get hurt in the process of fighting those allegations. He was quoted as saying:
“There are some issues running around in the recent past, isn’t it? I see all of you busy fighting those allegations and getting hurt in the process. In fact, I get hurt when I see you get hurt. I will take care of all that. Let’s get involved in people’s problems. Don’t get hurt about that problem – it’s not worth bothering about. Be confident. Only good things will happen.”

Amid the divorce buzz, a report by Tamil Filmibeat revealed that Vijay Thalapathy wants to settle the matter out of court. The actor-turned-politician doesn’t want to drag it due to his public image. He has initiated multiple talks over the same with his wife, Sangeetha, and if reports are to be believed, he has proposed an alimony of Rs. 250 crore to his wife to settle the case.

Amid the divorce buzz, Madras High Court advocate Saranya Natarajan slammed Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan’s public outing. Taking to her Instagram account, she shared an official press statement and requested public discussions around Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha’s divorce. She even slammed TVK’s International Women’s Day celebrations at Mamallapuram, wherein Vijay announced key schemes for women in the upcoming Assembly election. She requested empathy for the woman who might be the victim in the case.
