Apple Launches MacBook Pro With M5 Chip, 14.2 Inch Display in India, Know Price, Specifications

Apple, one of the big devices companies, has launched MacBook Pro with the new M5 chip in India. The company has said that this laptop has 3.5 times better performance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) related features and 1.6 times better performance of graphics as compared to MacBook Pro with M4 chip.

Price, availability of the new MacBook Pro

The base model of this laptop with Apple’s M5 chip has 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Price Is worth Rs 1,69,900. The price of 16 GB + 1 TB variant of MacBook Pro is Rs 1,89,900 and the price of 24 GB + 1 TB variant is Rs 2,09,900. For this, students can get a discount of Rs 10,000 through Apple’s education store. This laptop has been made available in Silver and Space Black colors. Its sale will start from October 22.

Specifications of MacBook Pro

The company’s new M5 chip has been given in this laptop. This chip has a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU. The MacBook Pro’s 14.2-inch (3,024 × 1,964 pixels) display features a Liquid Retina Pro XDR panel with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a pixel density of 254 ppi, and a peak brightness level of 1,000 nits. There is also an option for customers to have a display with nano texture finish. For connectivity, this laptop has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three Thunderbolt 5 ports, HDMI port, MagSafe 3 charging port, 3.5 mm headphone jack and SDXC card slot.

The new MacBook Pro has a 12-megapixel center stage camera. It has six speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. Touch ID sensor is provided in this laptop for security. It runs on macOS 26 out-of-the-box. It has support for Apple Intelligence features. The 72.4 Wh battery of this laptop can provide 24 hours of video streaming on a single charge. A 70 W USB Type-C power adapter will be provided with it. Along with this, customers will also have the option of 96 W power adapter. The size of this tablet is 312.6 × 155 × 221.2 mm and its weight is approximately 1.55 kg.
