For the past few days, Bravo fans have been in full-on detective mode after Summer House star Ciara Miller accused her ex, West Wilson, of hooking up with Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jennifer Fessler. While it began with a shady comment on Threads, the scandal has now spiraled into one of Bravo TV’s messiest ones, complete with cheating rumours and cryptic social media posts, and even legal warnings.
Even though both Wilson and Fessler have strongly denied the claims, many fans are inclined towards Miller’s allegations, with some resurfaced clips. Amid the drama, Fessler hit back with a new statement on her IG Stories. How did the hookup rumour start?
The drama actually began with a Thread post from Ciara Miller’s account after the RHONJ alum publicly defended West Wilson. It surfaced just weeks after Wilson publicly confirmed his romance with Summer House co-star Amanda Batula, who was once one of Ciara Miller’s closest friends. Amid the backlash surrounding the relationship, RHONJ alum, Jennifer Fessler, publicly defended Wilson.
During Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea event at Vulture’s Reality Masterminds party on May 7, 2026, Fessler weighed in on the buzz surrounding Wilson’s new relationship and also reacted to Ciara Miller’s claims that she had long suspected Amanda Batula was involved with him and had ‘evidence‘, something Batula’s ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, later appeared to confirm. Speaking about Ciara first, Fessler said:
“I love Ciara. Everybody loves Ciara. She’s impossible not to love.”
Fessler then went on to express her love for West Wilson as well, describing him as the ‘cutest, sweetest, golden retriever puppy dog’ who means no harm. She urged everyone to leave him alone, as he would never intentionally hurt anyone. Fessler’s exact words were:
“I also love West Wilson. I think he is the cutest, sweetest golden retriever puppy dog. I love him. He does not mean any harm. He didn’t mean it. He’s just trying to have a good time. He doesn’t want to hurt anyone. Give him a break.”
However, not everyone was on board with the comment, and certainly not Ciara. The very next day, the Summer House star reacted to a social media post discussing Fessler’s remarks and alleged on Threads:
“Lol, because they slept together too.”
Well, that single statement was enough to get the rumour mills going, and Bravo fans on social media immediately began digging up old clips, interviews, and photos to see whether there was any truth to Ciara Miller’s shocking claim.

Both Fessler and Wilson have firmly denied Miller’s explosive comment. The first to respond to the buzz was Wilson, who reposted a confused meme on his Instagram Stories, tagging Fessler. While he didn’t name anyone directly, he accompanied the meme with a simple caption, “News to me.” Fessler, on the other hand, was not so cryptic in her response. The RHONJ alum, who has been married to Jeffrey Fessler for more than two decades, did not hold back in her response. She called Miller’s accusation ‘categorically untrue and defamatory’, and wrote:
“In all seriousness…and while I can’t help but be a little flattered, it is not nice, nor is it ok, to post something categorically untrue and defamatory on social media (regardless of whatever rumors or apparent ‘evidence’ led you to that conclusion).”

Jennifer, who has been married to Jeffrey Fessler since 1999, added that false claims on social media could become legally complicated if they continue spreading. She wrote:
“That is the definition of libel. If it were true, I would have no recourse. Because it’s a lie, this can get more complicated. Having said that, I hope we can rectify this. It’s enough now.”
Why fans think Ciara might believe Jennifer and West slept together
While there is no confirmed proof of a hookup, Bravo fans on social media are not letting the fire die down just yet. With resurfacing old clips and interviews involving West and Fessler, many are convinced Miller has her reasons to suspect an affair. One video allegedly shows the Summer House star appearing unusually close to Fessler during a Bravo event.
Another resurfaced clip from Watch What Happens Live added fuel to the speculation. During the interview, West admitted he once hooked up with a woman in her “late 50s.” When Cohen asked if the experience was “pleasurable”, Wilson responded, “It was weird. But that’s, like, what is pleasurable. Weird stuff.” While that interview didn’t ring any bells before, fans are now pointing out that the woman could be Fessler, who is currently 57. However, the latter also responded to the buzz, speaking to Page Six. In Fessler’s words:
“It’s flattering that anyone would think someone who slept with Ciara Miller would be interested in sleeping with me.”
